What could be so hard to produce a WHITE version of the iPhone 4? Well Apple just released information regarding the availability of its white iPhone 4 is going to be pushed back until the “second half of July” (PRNewswire).
“White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have proven more challenging to manufacture than expected, and as a result they will not be available until the second half of July. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.”

In another strange turn of events in the app approval process for the iPhone, Apple has given the green light to a new application that supposdly allows video recording on non iPhone 3Gs models. This means that the phone was not limited by hardware but software. For $0.99 cents, you can download an app that basically allows the same functionality as the iPhone 3GS for video recording. Hurray! One less reason to upgrade to the 3GS or jailbreak…

Nexus One - Google Phone on Android
Available online directly from Google.com itself, this phone will deliver a complete Android 2.1 experience to new users with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Look out Apple, this phone is going to knock your socks off… There is no contract and the device will be priced accordingly. This is a similar model to Sony Ericsson and Nokia but who knows, Google might actually change consumer buying habits…
The phone, called Nexus One, was designed inside Google and will be sold, at least initially, without being subsidized by a wireless partner, these people said. It is the latest sign of the Internet giant’s ever-broadening wireless ambitions as Google hunts for ways to expand its Internet services beyond computers. Can you tell which one is the real deal between the Tiger G3 and the HTC Hero? Does it even matter? While making a point to assert it’s looking into LTE as well, Dell has for now jumped on the WiMAX bandwagon by announcing it’ll offer the technology as an option on its Studio 15, Studio 17, and Studio XPS 16 laptops. US customers can pick the Intel 5150 WiMAX / Wireless-N combo card for $60 under the wireless card tab when customizing. Right now, we’d wager a few people living in Portland, Atlanta, or pockets of Baltimore just got mighty happy.

HTC Touch Pro 2 Evolves
Taking a hint from successful devices and piecing together great features (AT&T Tilt), the Touch Pro2 will debut with Microsoft’s newest build for its mobile OS called Windows Mobile 6.5. With a Qualcomm chip running at 528 MHz with 288 MB of ram, this is slightly faster than the competition and boosts a larger 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera in the rear. Now it’s anyone’s guess as to which wireless broadband this device is going to carry (GSM or CDMA or both) but let’s just hope they get smart and don’t forget to launch in the United States with a frontal camera. Let’s finally have a legitimate device in the market today that can run Windows Mobile 6.5 with a frontal camera available THROUGH an actual carrier AT&T, Verizon, etc.
Wouldn’t this phone be great for a video conferencing application? Hmmmm….
